About me

Jen Iden is a fourth-grade teacher with 11 years of experience, the last four years at Brevard Academy in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina. Jen presented on student engagement strategies at the 2024 North Carolina Association for Public Charter Schools Conference and the 2025 Western Carolina i-Ready Collaborative. In addition to classroom teaching, Jen serves as a mentor for beginning teachers and provides AI implementation and literacy support to the staff at Brevard Academy, helping to integrate various AI tools to enhance learning. Passionate about fostering student engagement and achievement, Jen specializes in combining instructional best practices with emerging technologies to challenge and support all students.
