We will share project ideas and lessons showing how we integrate the arts and literacy into technology activities. Arts integration includes digital art, visual art (in collaboration with art specials), and performance art. Literacy integration is connected with grade-level literacy standards and EL Education curriculum. We will include examples from multiple grade levels (K-5) and have day-by-day directions for how students complete the project. We will also include student work samples so attendees can see an example of what the project will actually look like when completed. Attendees will also be able to scan QR codes to "take home" the lesson plans for those who are interested in doing these activities in their own classes.
