Dr. Kimberley Thompson-Hairston earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in May 2022. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Averett University and a Bachelor of Arts in General Science Education from West Virginia State University.

An AI enthusiast and avid researcher, Dr. Thompson-Hairston is deeply invested in exploring the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in education. With a career spanning over 16 years, she has consistently demonstrated leadership, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success.
