Participants will roll through caring for virtual animals, fostering ties between STEM concepts and real-world applications. Participants will be interacting with Micro-bit virtual pets by simulating giving them food, water, entertainment, shelter, and using other animal adaptations to help keep them alive. Sounds and visual cues let participants know how animals are feeling. This activity meets K-5 NC Essential Standards in Science.
