About me
Michell brings over 16 years of diverse experience in education and currently serves as the Executive Director of Instructional Technology for Johnston County Schools. In this role, she focuses on effectively integrating technology into teaching and learning while promoting digital literacy. Her previous roles include CTE Business Teacher, School Library Media Coordinator, and District Media Specialist. As an ISTE Certified Educator and Google Level 1 Educator, Michell is passionate about designing hands-on learning experiences that spark creativity and foster critical thinking. She enjoys sharing practical strategies to make technology more accessible and impactful in the classroom.
