About me
Marsha Sirkin has been an educator for 22 years. She is a proud alum of Appalachian State University where she used to roam the campus as a school mascot. Currently, she is the director of the coastal satellite office of The Science House with North Carolina State University serving students and educators by modeling instruction, providing STEM materials, and providing professional development in Eastern North Carolina. Formerly, she served as a Carteret County Digital Learning Coach. She's an early childhood specialist who loves children and knows they can CHANGE THE WORLD FOR GOOD. Her stacks of todo lists and post-it note boards reside at CMAST - NCSTATE's satellite office in Morehead City. She has served as a Department of Education Digital Learning Ambassador, educating teachers across our state through the North Carolina Digital Learning Initiative. For fun, she enjoys front porch sitting, adventures with her children, and losing the land on a boat. https://marshamooresirkin.wordpress.com/
