About me
Kim Scott currently serves Craven County Schools as the Assistant Principal at JT Barber. Ms. Scott has a passion for innovative instruction and community engagement. Ms. Scott previously served CCS as a middle school math teacher and a K-5 Music Teacher. She also taught 1st, 2nd and 4th grades at her previous district. Ms. Scott enjoys learning more about arts integration and digital creativity. Ms. Scott brings a hands-on approach to fostering dynamic learning environments. Ms. Scott is also involved in district-wide initiatives, such as Craven County Partners in Education and the CSS MTSS implementation team, and is committed to advancing collaborative growth through instructional design and teacher support.
