I have proudly served the students of Onslow County for 21 years as a middle school Math teacher and currently as a Digital Learning and Teaching Facilitator. I am a native of southeastern NC and an alumni of East Carolina University and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. As a DLTF I love collaborating with teachers to create authenticate learning experiences for their students by seamlessly integrating blended learning models and innovative technologies with effective teaching strategies. However, the most rewarding part of my current position is helping to grow the next generation of teachers. I know it will be them that will help students find their passions and instill in them a lifelong love of learning, and I am grateful that my role allows for me to be a part of the learning journey with them and their students.
