Using the Rethink Education FREE K - 8 Full Course Content, we will explore how small group instruction using blended learning instructional methods including Station Rotation and Playlists can benefit secondary students (both Middle School and High School). We will share ideas, resources, and allow for collaborative conversations on the benefits of small group instruction to support students' needs and effectively differentiate instruction.

Join us as we explore making a mindset shift from being an instructor to a facilitator of learning using blended learning instructional methods. Educators will explore how fostering a classroom that allows for all learners to grow can be transformative.

This interactive session, "Gamified Learning in Early Elementary Classrooms (K-2)," offers educators innovative strategies for incorporating game-based learning in young students' education. Participants will explore engaging, gamified activities designed to enhance early literacy, math skills, and social-emotional development. The session includes hands-on experiences with phonics instruction, technology-driven math activities, and social skill-building games. Educators will gain practical tools for creating and implementing gamified lessons, learn strategies for differentiating instruction, and develop a personalized gamified unit. This sessions is aimed at K-2 teachers and those working with young learners, this session promises to enrich classroom practices and foster a more engaging and effective learning environment.

The purpose of this session is to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to integrate Generative AI (GenAI) tools into their teaching practices to develop the durable skills outlined in the North Carolina Portrait of a Graduate. The session provides a understanding of leveraging GenAI to enhance these skills in students, preparing them for future success.

Join us for an engaging professional development session designed to empower educators with practical strategies for incorporating ISTE Student Standards into daily lessons. This interactive workshop will focus on active participation, ensuring that attendees leave with actionable ideas and resources they can implement immediately in their classrooms.
Throughout the 50-minute session, participants will explore each of the seven ISTE Student Standards—Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. Rather than a traditional presentation format, this session emphasizes collaboration and hands-on learning.
We will kick off with interactive polling to gauge participants' experiences and challenges with the ISTE standards.

Participants will work in groups by subject area or grade level to modify existing lesson plans, ensuring that the strategies discussed are tailored to their specific contexts.
We will also set up exploration stations featuring various technology tools mentioned during the session.

By the end of this session, participants will have developed a toolkit of practical strategies and resources for integrating ISTE standards into their teaching practices. You will leave feeling inspired and equipped to create engaging learning experiences that empower students through technology.
