Designed for instructional coaches, educational leaders, and educators in coaching roles, this session explores dynamic coaching models, digital tools, and strategies to transform learning. Engage in hands-on activities, including co-creating a single-point rubric for blended learning and using data to drive coaching. This session unravels the mysteries of Computer Science (CS) and provides strategies to seamlessly integrate CS into K-5 content areas. Participants will explore how to locate CS standards and effectively align them with subjects like math, science, and language arts. With the support of sample lessons, engaging activities, and real-world examples from forward-thinking districts, educators will gain actionable insights on incorporating CS concepts to foster essential skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration. By the end of the session, attendees will leave empowered to "unmask" the transformative power of Computer Science in their classrooms, inspiring students to become curious, confident digital thinkers.

Breakout and escape room games offer a unique and engaging approach to learning. This interactive workshop will explore the versatility of breakout games, demonstrating how they can be used to enhance learning across various subjects. Participants will actively engage in a physical breakout game, a digital breakout experience, and collaborate to create cross-curricular connections. By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to effectively utilize breakout games to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.

This workshop is based on the research from leaders in instructional coaching paired with a preview of the Microsoft Certified Coach Program that is industry certified and ISTE SEAL aligned. Additionally, this highly interactive workshop will focus on the not often addressed, but critical aspects of coaches; Leading others when you aren't in a leadership role, creating a PD community to scale, and being a system advocate to make greater impact.

Learn how an impact dashboard serves as a powerful visual tool for administrators, educators, and students to access and utilize real-time data. Attendees will learn what an impact dashboard is, as well as the potential power of impact dashboards in promoting positive messaging in educational communities. They will learn how to utilize Google Forms and Google Sheets to collect and organize data, as well as Google Looker Studio to craft the real-time impact dashboard to showcase their data. Attendees will collaborate with one another to discuss types of data sets that could be showcased on an impact dashboard and the impact they could have on their student population. They will be guided by the presenters on how to craft their own impact dashboard. Attendees will be provided templates and guides for reference when crafting future impact dashboards. After this session, participants will have a working Looker Studio impact dashboard connected to a data set, ready to implement!

In this session, we will explore strategies for designing intuitive course layouts that simplify navigation and minimize text-heavy content. You will learn how to create assignments that are more manageable for young learners, incorporating features that enhance interactivity and engagement. By the end of this session, you will be equipped with the knowledge to design a user-friendly Canvas course that supports the developmental needs of young learners, fostering a positive and effective online learning environment.
