Our 3rd-5th graders built a catapult for the fall festival's "punkin chunkin" event. Using Tinkercad, they created and 3D printed a model of their design. They integrated Makey Makey boards and Scratch coding to create an interactive display explaining force, motion, measurement, and human body mechanics. At the showcase, students will demonstrate the design and coding process while connecting the catapult’s mechanics to physics and anatomy concepts.
