Increasing female representation in computer science education is essential to building a diverse and innovative tech workforce. This presentation addresses the current gender gap in school-level computer science programs and explores strategies to attract and retain female students in these fields. We will examine key barriers that deter young women from entering and persisting in computer science, including cultural perceptions, lack of visible role models, and limited early exposure. Attendees will leave with actionable insights and resources to create more equitable computer science pathways, helping to inspire and empower the next generation of women in tech.
