About me
Becky Goddard Plotkin has been an educator for more than 25 years. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescent Mathematics, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Media. Becky works closely with the North Carolina Digital Teaching and Learning Initiative working as an ambassador for the North Carolina Digital Learning Competencies and participating in the North Carolina Digital Learning Coaches Network. Becky was the North Carolina PBS Learning Media Lead Digital Innovator in 2015 and has served on the Discovery Education Leadership Council for the last five years. Becky has presented at both national and state conferences such as ISTE, NCTIES, FETC, and DENSI. Additionally, she also presents for SC Midlands Summit, Discovery Education’s Day of Discovery, FreshTake, Making IT Happen, and various local events.
