Join us for an interactive session on integrating STEM into non-STEM subjects like English, world languages, and social studies. Led by a high school English and Spanish teacher, participants will explore strategies for creating hands-on projects that promote cross-curricular learning and critical thinking.

During this session, K-2 teachers will delve into their new science standards and some resources to help them make science fun and engaging for their students and become savvy resource consumers. I will help teachers make connections between the resources and their standards.

Dive into Autocrat, a Google add-on, to foster impactful conferences and goal-setting with students. Participants will leverage Autocrat's capabilities to elevate data-driven teaching. After this hands-on, practical training, participants will leave with practical skills and a tangible output in the form of their own personalized templates for generating individualized student reports.

Participants will experience Canva in new ways during this session by using its AI image generation tool, Magic Media. Participants will partake in a model lesson using Magic Media, which will create space for them to think critically and creatively as they approach selected learning standards from a different point of view. After the model lesson, participants will be exposed to other unique ways Magic Media can be used in the classroom. Through this session, participants will understand the benefits of using Canva with their students, and it will inspire them to come up with other creative ways to apply Canva in their lessons.

Approaching the classroom through the lens of creativity is not only beneficial for our students but possibly more important for educators. Creativity has the potential to make learning and teaching fun. Let's Have fun with Canva.
